Helio for DeHavilland UK Email Monitoring Service: What will stay the same, changes and improvements

Last updated 5 months ago

You will see some changes and differences to the Report, General Political Update and Alert emails you receive.

1. Helio and DeHavilland branding in emails

Helio Intelligence is the leading political intelligence group in Europe and the parent company of DeHavilland and Forefront. The group’s platform is known as the Helio platform, and you will see both names on emails, the platform and in regular customer communications.

2. The sender of curated and auto alert emails

With the Helio platform, you will see some changes on the email sender for the email monitoring service you receive. Curated emails from our policy team will come from a firstname.lastname@platform.heliointelligence.com email address. Please whitelist the @platform.heliointelligence.com domain to ensure you receive the emails and that they do not go to your junk or spam folders.

Auto alerts will come from alerts@comms.dehavilland.co.uk.

3. How will my political monitoring service change?

We have made several significant updates and added a new AI tool that will improve how you access and consume content using the Helio political monitoring service.

You will receive update emails such as General Political Updates (GPUs) and Mentions emails directly in your inbox. These emails structure content as a list of items, displaying the title and a short summary (depending on the email type you receive). We have also made it easier for you to view the sources of content items in these emails. When you click on an item, you will be taken directly to it in our new AI-powered Helio platform. Once in the platform, you can view, read and carry out additional research on the content (document) using our new AI search tool. In the near future, Helio will have other AI tools to speed up your public affairs and investment workflows.

In this AI search tool, you can view all highlighted mentions (if the mentions email was the point of origin for a source) and read the full document. Time-poor professionals can also ask the AI search tool follow-up questions in plain English to quickly research the document.

4. What will stay the same in the Report, Alerts and Mentions (monitoring) emails?

For reports, alerts and mentions emails, the content you receive will not change.

However, if you have set up mentions emails for your organisation as part of your political monitoring service, you will see some additional content. These emails will now include mentions of your organisation in press releases you have published.

Helio finds the most relevant content based on your topics or themes of interest. If you have issued a press release to the market about the topics or themes, our system will find it and rank it with other content. If the AI Content Selection agent deems the content such as your press releases as highly relevant, then they will be included in your Mentions email.

You can use this information to assess the quality, newsworthiness, distribution effectiveness and timing of your press releases.

5. What will the stay the same in the General Political Update (GPU) emails?

General Political Update emails (Consultation Update, Despatch, Debrief, People update and Westminster Parliamentary business etc.) will also have the same content and contain all the content in the body of the email. This is a similar navigation experience to what you see today.

6. Report and alert emails will be easier to digest and consume

Content items in Report and alert emails will be ordered by relevance.

You’ll notice a difference in the look and feel of the emails that make them easy to digest and consume.

Each customised email will contain the title and type of each content item. You will be able to navigate easily to the content you care about without having to read every word and spend time scrolling in the email; links to the information source will open outside the email. When you click on an item link, you will be taken to the source in the Helio platform, where you can read the full document and use the features and functionalities such as our AI search tool to research and extract insights from the content. This is new for our DeHavilland customers.

7. Changes to alert emails – viewing Mentions and highlights in emails and the source

In this release, you will see the highlights/Mentions for the email you have set up to receive in the subject line of that email. We have also made it easier for you to view the sources of content items in these emails. In addition, you will see the mentions highlighted in the content in Helio itself. When you click on an item, you will be taken directly to it in our new AI-powered Helio platform. Once in the platform, you can view, read and carry out additional research on the content (document) using our new AI search tool.

In the AI search tool, you can view all highlighted mentions (if the mentions email was the point of origin for a source) and read the full document. Time-poor professionals can also ask the AI search tool follow-up questions in plain English to quickly research the document.
