Content Features

In this video, I’m excited to introduce the new mentions feed feature within our platform, which allows you to select from various tags in our taxonomy and display them effectively. As you navigate to the mentions area, you'll initially be directed to the settings page to set up your mentions, which can be edited at any time. Once configured, you'll receive a feed of search results showing how often your selected tags have been mentioned in the last 24 hours. I encourage you to explore the filtering options to refine your results based on specific terms or tags. Please keep in mind that this feature is still in beta, and we will continue to make updates and improvements.

In this video, I introduce our content library, which allows you to browse and publish various types of content, including general election, policy, political event, and process-related materials. Each piece of content is accompanied by relevant data and an author for your reference. I encourage you to explore the "All" tab to access a comprehensive collection of our offerings. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the brief overview provided for each item. Your engagement with this library will enhance our collective understanding and communication.

In this video, I walk you through our events page, where you can explore past, ongoing, and upcoming events in the UK. I highlight how to navigate from the Monitoring tab and utilise filters such as date range, event status, keywords, and categories to find events that interest you. Additionally, I demonstrate how to access top-level details of each event, including the date, title, and supplementary information. I encourage you to familiarise yourself with these features to enhance your engagement with our events.

Dashboards & Reporting

In this video, I walk you through the engagement dashboard, which visually represents our contact activity entries. You'll see a summary of the most contacted individuals, parties, and topics, along with total activities logged. I also highlight the ability to filter these graphs by date range, users, and specific topics. I encourage you to explore these features to gain insights into your interactions. Please take a moment to apply the filters and review your own activity against the individuals you’ve recorded topics with.

Stakeholder Tooling

In this video, I walk you through the process of adding new contacts to our platform, specifically those who don't fit into our existing stakeholder groups like MPs, local councils, and civil servants. To create a contact, simply navigate to the Contacts section under Insights, then select Create Contact and fill in the mandatory fields such as title, first name, and surname, along with any additional relevant information. Once you complete this, you'll have a fully registered contact in our system. Please make sure to follow these steps to ensure we have all necessary contacts on board.

In this video, I introduce you to our civil service database, which is designed to be user-friendly with a tabular format for easy searching and filtering. You can view profiles that include a brief about section, tailored to the relevant information available. By selecting an organisation, the department will automatically be set for you, streamlining your search process. I encourage you to explore this tool and utilise its features to enhance your workflow. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the database and let me know if you have any questions.

In this video, I’m excited to introduce a new dedicated constituency area within Insights where you can find all constituencies listed. You can easily search for them and view the relevant regions. I encourage you to explore this feature and familiarise yourself with the new layout. Your feedback on this addition would be greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance our tools. In this video, I walk you through the process of adding stakeholders to a group. You can either create a new group or add them to an existing one. I demonstrated how to create a new group called "Test Group 2" and confirmed its creation. Please navigate to the Groups section to view the newly created group. If you have any stakeholders to add, I encourage you to follow these steps.

In this video, I walk you through the process of adding a stakeholder to an existing group. First, select the stakeholder and then choose the option to add them to a group, where you can pick from the existing groups available. After making your selection, don't forget to save the entry. Once saved, you can find the group, and the stakeholder will appear there. Please make sure to follow these steps to ensure everyone is correctly organised within our groups.

In this video, I walk you through the process of recording a contact activity entry for our curated groups or selected predetermined groups. You'll learn how to select stakeholders, log activities by filling out essential information like date, activity type, topic, notes, and attachments. Once you've completed these steps, simply click on "log activity" to ensure it's recorded in our wider activity system. Please make sure to follow these steps carefully to maintain accurate records. Your attention to this process is crucial for our ongoing stakeholder engagement efforts.

In this video, I walk yo through how to create and send an email to Stakeholders,  as well as how to create and save a draft email within the platform.

Sending Mail Merge Emails

In this video, I introduced our new filtering feature across the array of stakeholder tables. Each column is now filterable and searchable, allowing you to easily find an individual's name or other relevant data. You can also change the order of view and sort the columns alphabetically from A to Z or Z to A, while retaining your search filters.

Create and add your own email signature for email merge emails. You can find this option in the settings area, located in the bottom left corner of the screen within the the three dots. Simply paste your signature, including any HTML links, into the designated box and apply the changes.

In this video, I've shared some updates to the 'Contacts' area of our platform. You can now delete entries you've made, record activities against these contacts just like you would with other stakeholders and see entries appear in the engagement dashboard.

In this video, I walk you through how to view a stakeholder profile effectively. You can either select from the displayed list or search for a specific individual. Each profile includes curated information such as political background, contact details, and assistant information. I encourage you to explore these profiles to better understand our stakeholders and their relevance to our work. Please take action by familiarising yourself with this tool to enhance our collaboration.

In this video, I walk you through our comprehensive people database, which includes information on MPs, Lords, civil servants, and councillors, with a focus on filtering for Scottish National Party members. I demonstrate how to access detailed profiles, including biographies, contact details, and group affiliations. Additionally, I explain how to create contact activities to record interactions with these individuals. Exporting

In this video, I walk you through the process of exporting contact activity entries and top-level contact details in CSV format. Each time you initiate an export, you'll see a notification that the download is being prepared, and once it's complete, it will save to your downloads folder. I also highlight that you can export from both the core table and the UK stakeholder group section, as well as collect activity entries by selecting a specific date range.

In this video, I explain the updated process for selecting stakeholders in our table. You can now select all visible individuals or choose to select everyone in the table with a single click. Additionally, I've highlighted the new feature that allows you to export the activity records for the selected individuals.

Using the Helio Help Centre

In this video, I introduce the Helio Feedback Centre, where you can report bugs, request feature improvements, and provide general feedback about our platform. We have three types of forms available: one for bugs, one for feature suggestions, and another for general feedback. I encourage you to provide as much detail as possible when reporting issues or suggesting improvements, as this information will be logged and reviewed by our product and IT teams. Your input is invaluable in helping us enhance your experience. Please take a moment to share your thoughts with us!

Recording a bug, feature request and submitting feedback

In this video, I provide a quick overview of how to amend your general political update preferences. To access this feature, simply click on the three-dot icon in the bottom left corner and navigate to settings. From there, you can easily toggle the updates on or off based on your preferences. If you prefer not to receive certain updates, just turn them off. Please take a moment to review your settings to ensure you’re only receiving the information you want.

In this video, I've outlined some updates to our email merge features which include visibility of recipient emails, selection of email you want to send to (campaign, constituency, or office emails) and a preview button that allows you to see the email's subject, body, and signature before sending, making it quicker and easier to ensure everything looks right.
