Contact export [UK Monitoring]: We have improved the formatting of the contact export so it's easier to digest and utilise.

Add Civil Servants and Local Councillors to Groups [UK Monitoring]: You can now create Groups that contain Civil Servants and Local Councillors; previously you could only add MPs to a Group. With this update, you can further curate the groups you to reach out to.

Enhanced People tables [UK Monitoring]: For the Civil Servants table, we have added in a new Organisation column, and for both the Civil Servants and UK Stakeholder table you can use advanced AND/OR filtering across the different columns.

Updates to stakeholder profiles [UK Monitoring]: We have restored Ministerial Responsibilities on minister profiles and UK Commons and House of Lords profiles once again display government roles and committee memberships.

Text wrapping [UK / EU Monitoring]: We have released a fix for text in emails that was not wrapping as expected in an email layout. With this fix, all emails will be displayed as expected and make them easier for your recipient to read.

Paused procedure notifications [EU notifications]: During the summer recess, we've paused procedure notifications. This gives our analysts time to review and enrich procedure content, while our platform team makes improvements to how notifications work. If there are any significant updates to the procedures you follow during this period, our analysts will notify you manually. Notifications will resume after the recess with an improved experience.

Procedures enhancements [EU Monitoring]

We have continued iteration on the Procedures feature to make them more intuitive, recent updates include:

• Redesigned key players in procedures: Now when you view key players associated with a procedure, they are grouped by committee so it's clear which MEP belongs to which committee within a procedure. Each key player also shows their EU political group. The lead committee is now displayed as well as the associated roles of key players.

• Stakeholder profiles in new tab: Now when you click on a stakeholder profile when viewing a procedure, the profile will open in a new tab so as not to disrupt your workflow.

• Updated stakeholder procedure view: We have removed the tabs that navigated you away from stakeholder profiles when viewing an individuals associated procedures.

SRM enhancements [EU Monitoring]

We have also made enhancements to our SRM feature to help surface more relevant information and make outreach easier. These include:

• Enhanced profile information: Now all committee and delegation memberships are visible on MEP profiles as well as the political group and contact details.

• Separated MEP and Commissioner tables: We have separated out the previous stakeholder table into two separate tables. One specifically for MEPs and another for Commissioners and Commissioner staff so you can conduct more targeted searched for individuals.

• Complex characters supporter in people search: We have made enhancements to stakeholder search - previously names with special characters had to be typed as an exact match, now, you can search using either the standard letter or special character and we’ll return results for both.

Additional Posts filters [EU Monitoring]

We have added two new filters to Posts, so you can now filter by Source and Type to help conduct more targeted searches.

Enhanced Civil Servants table [UK Monitoring]

We have made improvements to the Civil Servants table including adding a new Organisation column and added advanced AND/OR filtering across the different columns.

Rich text formatting [UK / EU Monitoring]

We have enhanced our built-in email tool to support rich text formatting so now when emailing you can change font and colour, hyperlink body copy, centre text and insert images throughout. We’ve also addressed formatting concerns.

Source links in emails [UK / EU Monitoring]

We have reintroduced source links into our monitoring emails so now you have the option of viewing the source in Finder or going to the direct source, helping you surface relevant information even quicker.

Sticky filters [UK / EU Monitoring]

We have introduced ‘sticky filters’ across Posts, Procedures and Events. This means that when you apply a filter to any of these pages, if you navigate away from the page upon your return the filters will remain.

Forefront Event landing page [Forefront]

We have updated the new Forefront Events page so now when you navigate to the Events page, it defaults to showing upcoming events.

Full screen procedures [EU Monitoring]

We have introduced the ability to expand and collapse the side panel making information easier to read and navigate, helping to increase productivity across your team.

Procedures enhancements [EU Monitoring]

We are going to work on enhancing the Procedures features to make them more intuitive, recent releases include:

• Ensuring all Procedures appear in a logical order when viewing Procedures from an individual stakeholders profile

• Enhanced filtering when searching for Procedures including the ability to:

  • Multi-select topics

  • Filter by interinstitutional number

  • Filter by ‘EU Procedure’

Posts enhancements [EU Monitoring]

We have also released some enhancements to Posts to make them more intuitive including:

• Allowing you to select more that one topic at a time when filtering Posts

• Making stakeholders clickable from Posts for easier navigation

7 day login [UK / EU Monitoring]

We have made changes to the login process to help save you time and optimise workflows. Now, when you log in to Helio, by default you will remain logged into your Helio account for up to 7 days – helping you save time and complete tasks throughout the day, uninterrupted.

Events improvements [UK / EU Monitoring]

We have released updates to the Events feature that make viewing and navigating events more user-friendly. Enhancements include:

• Enhanced filters which allow you to look for upcoming events in the next 7, 30 and 90 days

• You can also sort events by:

  • Start date (Earliest first or latest first)

  • Recently updated

• Fuzzy matching enabled for events search so results are returned based on any words used in the title, not just exact matches

EU Stakeholder table [EU Monitoring]

We have expanded the capabilities of the current EU stakeholder table to provide more insight and help you make more targeted searches:

• We have added Committees and Committee Role as columns to the stakeholder table

• You can also use advanced ‘AND / OR’ search across the following columns:

  • Name

  • Addressable title

  • Job title

  • Organisation

We have added in advanced ‘AND / OR’ search across more columns in your stakeholder table.

So now, you can use AND / OR criteria to conduct more targeted searches across the following columns:

• Name

• Addressable title

• Job title

Councils and Councillors tables [UK Monitoring]

Councils and Councillors now have two separate tabs. This provides you with richer information on both areas and makes the platform more intuitive.

• Councils: See all councils and an associated map from one single tab.

• Councillors: Access all councillors in the UK and their associated committee and ward from one tab and use our new AND / OR conducted more targeted searches.

Search enhancements [Forefront]

We have also enhanced the Notes search functionality, by default when searching for Notes we will return results based off matching words in the title and body copy, exposing you to more relevant insights.

You also have the option to search for an ‘exact phrase’ on the updated search, by ticking the relevant tick box.

Forefront Events in Helio [Forefront]

You can now view all past and upcoming Forefront events in the Helio platform and access a link to register,

Procedure notifications [EU Monitoring]

We have introduced the ability for individuals to follow Procedures and get notified about any updates or changes linked to that specific legislation. Individuals can choose to be updated via in-app platform notification or both in-app platform notification and email alert from their Settings. After this, you'll receive a notification regarding the following updates:

- Person updates

- Events

- Follow up

- Agenda items

- Posts

- Body of the procedure

Procedure enhancements [EU Monitoring]

We have made improvements to Procedures. Now, when viewing a procedure you can click through to linked items, helping you surface relevant information quicker.

Content grouping in email [EU Monitoring]

We have rolled out a new email layout for our EU monitoring emails to make it easier to consume content. See below for an outline of the updates:

• Content is now grouped based on author type, allowing you to quickly find relevant content under clear headings, such as: European Commission and European Parliament.

• Content groups will appear in a pre-determined order, The first category will always gather content from the three main institutions, followed by agencies and non-institutional stakeholders. Any content that does not fall within those categories (e.g., the EESC or COR) will be displayed below. See the categories below:

  • European Commission

  • European Parliament

  • Council (incl. European Council)

  • EU Agencies

  • EU Stakeholders

• Within each group, individual items will continue to be ranked using our existing relevancy score, ensuring you see the most important updates first.

This is an EU only release at present but we are looking to introduce this as an option to UK clients in the coming months.

Stakeholder Groups [UK Monitoring]

We have completed work to ensure all pre-determined Stakeholder Groups are fully populated and ready to engage via our SRM tool.

Contacts in groups [UK Monitoring]

We have recently added ability to include created contacts alongside MPs in curated groups.

Actions on Stakeholder Profiles [UK & EU Monitoring]

We have also added a new 'Actions' button to individual stakeholder profiles for quick routes to key actions you want to complete against specific stakeholders.

Contact Activity updates [UK & EU Monitoring]

We have made some improvements to how contact activity works in the Helio platform. We've added 'Edit' and 'View' buttons to your own activity entries, and a 'View' button to entries made by colleagues in the to contact activity panel. We have also made it possible to export contact activity from a single stakeholder profile.

Groups improvements [UK & EU Monitoring]

We have also released a new update aimed at making Groups more intuitive. Now you have the ability to create a new group from within an existing group.

Helio on mobile [UK & EU Monitoring and Forefront]

Helio is now accessible on mobile. This means you’ll be able to log into Helio on-the-go from your personal device. This update is designed to improve efficiency across your team as now, when you receive your monitoring emails, you’ll be able to access content sources on Finder from whichever device you're using at the time.

Email merge enhancements [UK & EU Monitoring]

We have added the ability to send an Email Merge email to a collection of contacts in a group (MPs, MEPs, created contacts).

Defence Note [Forefront]

We have launched a new Defence Note which is now available in the Helio platform. We are in the process of backdating previous Defence Notes so they're accessible from your Forefront library, and will begin sending Defence Notes from the new Helio platform.

Sunsetting legacy platforms [EU Monitoring & Forefront]

As of 30 April we have sunset legacy platforms: Dods EU, DeHavilland EU, and Forefront. This means that after this date you will no longer be able to log into your old portal so please ensure you're actively logging in and using the new Helio solution.

DeHavilland PeoplePoint UK sunsetting has been extended to May.

Helio Product Updates – 7 April 2026

Following the launch of the Helio platform to UK teams and clients, we have launched a Beta version of the platform to all EU clients now. This includes People, SRM & Procedures, Events, Agenda, Posts & Follow Ups and Institutions

People, SRM & Procedures (see previous Change release note).

Events, Agenda, Posts & Follow Ups

Events are available under Monitoring. There is a tab for EU events. Once you click into an event you can view Dates, URLs, Topic, related Procedure and Sources. You can click through to URL and Procedure. You can view Agenda, Posts and follow ups are available under Events.

 Interventions

Interventions are available to view under Events. When you click the Interventions tab you will be able to see a list of Interventions. They are grouped according to active and completed. You can also view Interventions against an organisation.

 Institutions

EU Institutions is available under People. When you select an institution you will be able to view People and Interventions under it.

Mail Merge

·       Users have the ability to allow for pdf documents to be uploaded at a reasonable size

·       Salutations in Mail Merge now possible:

EU People and SRM [Launched 19 February 2026]

EU Stakeholders will be available under Insights. There will be a searchable filter with headings Photo, Addressable Title, Organisation, EU Political group and Job title.

On viewing an EU Person users will be able to view:

Political career will include:

Email merge updates [Launching 3rd February 2026]

We’ve made a number of enhancements to the current email merge functionality in the UK Helio platform to help make conducting outreach more targeted and efficient:

• Email address type: When sending an email you can now easily select the email address type you want to send to eg: Ministerial, constituency etc.

• Full email address: When choosing who to send an email to we now expose the full email address as opposed to the name of the recipient - this will help to differentiate between individuals and ensure you’re contacting the right stakeholder.

• Email signature: Users now have the ability insert their company email signature into the email template, further personalising your outreach.

• Email preview: Now, you can preview your email before sending. This allows you to see how it will appear to the recipient and fix any formatting or errors ahead of setting live.

Searching and filtering stakeholders [Launching 3rd February 2026]

We have made updates to the filtering and search options on the People page. Now, all columns are filterable and when a filter is applied on a page, it is retained as you navigate across different pages. In addition to this, now when using the search bar, results will be returned from the entire stakeholder database - previously this only returned results based on the page you were viewing.

Contact detail export [Launching 3rd February 2026]

We have reintroduced the ability to export stakeholder contact details. Now, you can export publicly available contact information into a CSV file for ease, see below a list of the details available in the export.

This is available for MPs, civil servants and local councillors.

Custom contact updates [Launching February 3rd 2026]

Previously the functionality relating to a custom created contact wasn’t as extensive as other platform stakeholders. We have since made updates to ensure custom contacts get the same level of actions and tracking attached to them for a holistic view of all activities linked to these contact types. Now, for custom contacts, you can:

• Export contact activity entries

• Delete a custom contact

• Record activities against them

• See all contacts and their activities reflected in the Engagement Dashboard

Improved AI summaries in monitoring emails [Launching 3rd February 2026]

We have also made improvements to the AI summaries included in our monitoring emails. Previously, when providing summaries with reference to questions and answers that went on in parliament, the individual stakeholders weren’t referenced. Now, our AI identifies the participating stakeholders - informing clients of who asked and answered a question.
