Helio Product Updates [12 October 2026]

New navbar redesign [UK + EU Monitoring]: We have recently updated the navigation inside the platform so that it is more intuitive and you can find the features you need more quickly.  

Updates include:  

  • New Tracking tab: Here you will find your in-app monitoring features. For the UK this is home to Transcript and Events. For the EU, it includes all your legislative tracking and horizon scanning tools: Procedures, Posts, Events and the new Search All feature.  

  • New People tab:  Here you will find your stakeholder information. People is your stakeholder library while Contacts is where you will find your self-uploaded contacts.  

  • New Engagement tab: Here you will find your Engagement Dashboard with new sub-tabs, allowing you to see an overview of engagement, contact activity, and sent and draft emails. 

Standardised date format [UK + EU Monitoring]: We have standardised date formatting across the platform so that all dates default to European rather than American, avoiding any potential confusion.

Update visibility of Contacts [UK + EU Monitoring]: You now have the option to update the visibility of Contacts you upload and make them visible across your organisation. Previously, any contacts uploaded were private to who uploaded them. Now, you have the option to make these contacts visible across your organisation at the point of creation. You can also bulk update the visibility of your Contacts. By default, any contact you upload will remain private.

Clearer tabs on MEP and MP Stakeholder profiles [UK + EU Monitoring]: We have introduced two new tabs when viewing an individual stakeholder profile, making it easier to navigate between profile information and engagement information. Profile information includes political career for UK and EU and Posts, Procedures and Interventions for EU. Engagement information includes any logged Activity, Groups the individual belongs to and Notes across UK and EU.

Table of contents in monitoring emails [EU Monitoring]: After listening to your feedback, we have reintroduced a table of contents in your monitoring emails. The table of contents makes long emails containing many content sources easier to digest and navigate, allowing you to see the contents of an email at a glance and jump to the most relevant information.  

Improved Interventions search [EU Monitoring]: Interventions on MEP profiles are now easier to find. Search now goes beyond the event title to match words within the intervention itself, as well as related concepts using semantic search.

Civil Servant and Councillor enhancements [UK Monitoring]: We have made improvements to help unify the SRM experience across all stakeholders. These include updating Civil Servant and Councillor profiles to show logged Activity, Groups and Notes. 

Sunsetting legacy DeHavilland portal [UK Monitoring]: On 30 September, we retired the legacy DeHavilland PeoplePoint portal. This followed the successful migration of data to your current portal and the addition of Notes on stakeholder profiles.
